Big money for a repaint. I say the seller was honest and good for him. He did a nice restoration. I seen it on there and was watching to see what it done. And the seller was up front about the paint. I agree with Toby. A CQ only missing a shade in that condition for $28 would be in my truck. The shade holder is worth it $20 by itself. I gave $20 for the one in this thread.

Found this one picking something up for Toby. No patent stamp and unstamped wheel. It even holds air and passes it out the generator. Mud dobbers plugged the air or it would run as is. Based on the un stamped wheel it should be my oldest. 20210415_180650_copy_477x1008.jpg 20210415_180722_copy_534x11...

Or if you have some 1/8in. viton or BunaN flat stock you can use a leather pliers punch to get a PIP. I like Viton since it seems to hold up better to fuel over time. If you can get 60 Durometer hardness of Viton, even better. Otherwise, you can get plenty of BunaN 1/8in. at a 60D but they just don...

To be a bit nitpicky, that's a check valve removal tool. A NRV tool would be for removing the NRV from the older 242a or 242k lanterns. A lantern with a NRV is very uncommon and a NRV removal tool doesn't exist as far as I know. I wish there was one because I have a stripped NRV in a 242k I need to...

If possibly consistent mowing over the shoots that come up will help. Glyphosate (round up) needs to be on the leaf surface to work best. Not sure if the label says treating the stumps will work too or not.
