After the T88 was discontinued, the Q77 would become standard from my understanding.

Re: Kit to refill 1lb propane canisters at Wallyworld

These cheapy cans were not designed to be "bled off". Once you open the valve the pressure will equalize. Once this happens the liquid from the supply tank will gravity over to the horizontal tank which will only fill to where the nozzle is screwed into the tank. Leaving enough (safe amount) of head...

Yes any eccentric from a 220/228B - 220/228F should work. The earliest B models had an oddball eccentric, but the odds of you getting one is slim.. Even some of the later 220/228's may work, but I've forgotten.

Heat and quench is the go to for nearly all stuck threads. Anytime you can heat the outer piece faster than the inner piece the more chance you have of breaking the two items apart. When working with a mixing chamber and vent stud one is trying to heat a much larger outer piece, so the smaller inner...

I can't speak for Coleman stoves (altho I suspect they do to) but the 242 and 242A with the NRV also have the snorkel pump tube just like the 220/228B's of the same period. One can easily swap in the later check valve/air stem setup and be perfectly safe doing so.
