Ulf You will have time to figure out what you like. I have may stoves and a couple folding ovens. Almost any of the stoves work well. The difference being the size and number of pans they will accommodate. As for ovens...the folding ovens are fun but I consider them a novelty, not a serious controll...

Just looking at the picture I notice a couple were threaded and then plated, while others were plated and then threaded.

Don't know what that means.

Mark I have both styles of pumps and both screws and tacks, but I don't recall seeing that thinner wooden bushing before. I have had to re-solder a couple of those end caps on these in the past. I figured from kids blowing air in each other's faces instead of pressurizing appliances 😁 No kids left ...

Dave I will let others ring in but, in my opinion you did nothing wrong. From the pictures it seems that the uncleaned lanterns showed a slight green hue. This leads me to think the nickel was already gone. The nickel under the protection of the collars looks good. I think someone in the past remove...

You can replace the cage and go with a 200A generator, but it seems you can also continue to use this cage with the 220 generator and just replace the tip and innards with that of a 200A. Jim I should have included that option as a question in my post. I have done that and it seems OK just a little...

Well we got a fair amount of snow. Hard to measure as it was blowing 40mph+. Had drifts about 4 feet high in places. Finally stopped snowing and the wind stopped.
