The link you provided shows a converted lamp with Coleman Quicklite burner. Those burners are normally marked with a 1919 patent date

The pink knob 99.9 percent of the time means it’s nulite produced

These run off white gas not kerosene. You’ll need to do some research before operating these old ones as they can have cracks in the tank sides etc. this is the place to find the information though.

No that’s a nulite lamp. Do not cut it up. That’s a torchlight lamp. Someone will tell you more about it. That’s nickel plated just dirty

Yes the earlier ones didn’t appear to have them. The later ones at least in my experience have had them.
