You could probably take a rounded edge of a screw driver handle or a large metal round bearing , marble maybe and give it a wack. Might tighten it up.

I used blue permarex. It just needs a little bit to help seal properly. Definitely not the best design.

The akron lit up ok with many picker clears. but it stopped pushing out fuel. Only air is coming out and it went out. Arg. I suspect it is a fa tube problem 🙄. I decided to light mine up as it’s been awhile. You’ll notice clocking is different than yours should be and the pricker lever is different. Also instructions are non existent on this type. James I'm typically looking for shades first then I find the lamp. The proper lamp is in the cue. It is a nice shade. Another collector has the decorated version for sale now. My area is tapped out on everything. When I do find something it’s not easily repairable and they want way to much and it’s something that I already have. I find more common propane stuff anymore. When I do find gpas they are junk and common.

Basically all the accessories funnel with chain, mounting screws, parts tube, wrench, knob for a American 523 stove that I’m restoring. Extra parts are always nice.
