I have a little wood gasifier stove I got for my b'day, its compact, stainless steel and it works extremely well. Check those out.

The most expensive part I got for my 2008 4Runner was the alternator, 190 bucks. Everything else they have at any NAPA/O'Reilly/parts stores by the counter.

Check on East Coast aviation supply, they have monel, stainless and titanium rivets, a pound is cheap and lasts a long time.

Now just arrived to Florida, just 30 miles from Tallahassee, Im camping in a place called Talquin lake, beautiful place, I don't have my BB gun to shoot at the mosquitoes. Covered the dogs in bug repellant, they were not amused. ( neither the dogs nor the mosquitoes)

My previous 1991 4 Runner went beyond 300,000 miles with oil changes and a couple alternators. Sold it for the same money I paid for it.

Now I have a 2008 4Runner, going through 228, 000 miles.

Well I was the only one at the campground, nice place, woke up and saw lots of deer footprints around the camper but never saw one, also cat ( as in house cat) footprints on top of the truck. Got the best spot under some pecan trees and slept very well. Tonight Im camping outside Houston and tomorro...

A family friend in Peru grows coffee in the San Ramon area in Peru, they have been roasting coffee since the early 1900s. They told me that the best coffee is best when used in less than 2 months after roasted, after that quality degrades as it begins to acidify.

I used a small 100 gb laptop hard drive as the backup, even if the main hard drive took a dump Acronis can restore individual files, programs or the whole system.

When I was using windows I had a program called " acronis true image" that let me restore everything from a sepatate partition on the hard drive in ten minutes flat. It backed up my drive every twelve hours, but you can make it backup as much or as little as you want, it saved my hide more than once...

So far so good. Getting through Sonora in Texas and Im just camping in a campground I'm sure it was hip during the Truman administration. We are the only ones in the place. Even the dogs are puzzled about it.

I had to pay an arbitrary " half value" to my ex, so now it is 100% mine. This camper was my home base while working out of town. Saved me thousands on hotel stays that I did not pay.
