In Peru, the natives have been using alpaca wool for the last 14,000 years, it is good stuff.

Being cold sucks, if you can find good wool gear, I highly recommend it.

For the last 21 years I have been using alpaca wool stuff, socks, sweaters, alpaca wool hats, etc. Best thing since chewing gum.
