Re: 220E Burner Frame Removal
I put a crescent wrench (8" or longer) on the assembly, turn the whole thing upside down and put the wrench handle in my workmate jaws and then twist the fount to remove the cleaner assembly....you can leave the tip cleaner stem attached to the assembly if you wish

Thanks LJ...No idea if the fount has bulged but It works great and burns bright as it is so maybe I'm just better leaving it alone....I can live with the non centered wheel

This is where it's at.....kinda afraid to turn it as it doesn't look like much room to move to me but what do I know?<img alt="ð" src="https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/v/13.0.1/72x72/1f61f.png" class="emoji bbc_img" data-emoji="emoji" /> <a href="/files/attachments/5544007-20201017_1...

Thanks for the encouragement Steve....it's a learning process. When doing my 236A, I could screw the fount on where it needed to go all by hand. My 220E, on the other hand, needed my workmate(vise)....all different I guess

Because I'm fairly new to all this I've only removed a couple of founts......one was a 220E and it took all my strength to remove it so I get a bit nervous when doing this but you're right....it'll bug me if I don't try to even it out....and I won't blame you if I screw it up lol

So I picked up this 249 recently and am wondering if the valve assembly should be turned another full turn on the fount to lower it....shouldn't it be centered height wise? Or should I just leave it alone as it works just fine as is <a href="/files/attachments/5540388-20201015_182121resize.jpg" rel=...
