Paul, mine looks just like yours. That stuff is heavy. There’s a road between the tree with the hog kettle and the barns in the background , and the plow has been by twice already. They are calling for 13 more hours before it’s over!

I know that several members have been lucky enough to find lamp shades made of shell. I just found this one if anybody is close enough to Delaware... very unique! And fireproof!

Wayne, the original 220 pricker is still in the generator and works just fine with the 200 tip. Willy Thanks Willy, I won't go out to my lantern shop till it gets above 20 degrees and no wind. My brain even feels a bit frozen right now with Seasonal Affective Disorder......can't wait till March!

You CAN work the carbon buildup off, at least I have when I ran too much wick and made it a smoker. Not sure if that will work if its had time to get rock hard> (If it does..)
