Nice 220 slant lantern. Called a slant based on the way the generator is positioned. Coleman dating during that period would make your lantern dated September 1928. The glass globe is from much later. Looks like a nice one, Congrats!

Nice work, Jim! I really how the globes turned out. I’m afraid if I had sandblasting equipment, I wouldn’t have a clear globe in the house. 😄 I always wanted to frost half a globe on one side and leave the other side clear.
The stove color looks spot on as well.

Our son is a chef in Australia and folks love the sourdough bread he bakes for the restaurant. At one time he was making 150+ loaves per week and selling them to other restaurants under a different business name! I once asked him for a recipe and he recommended the Tartine Bread book by Chad Roberts...

These came in several slightly different shades over the years. Best thing to do is take the vent with you to the store and find the best match. Great post WillCat! I spent many hours putting albums on cassette because it just made sense to preserve the album by recording it onto cassette. Record the album once and run the tape into the ground! Also made lots of mixes with with my favorite at the time. Thanks for the trip down memory lane…..

That is a very nice and unique floor lamp, Mark. Those shell shades were all over the place when I was younger--like '60s-'70s. You could always find them at an import emporium like Pier 51. They were kinda' kitchy at the time and now they're collectable. There must be a lot of them still in attics...
