Re: Let’s see your Work Bench
Are those Cornhole boards Mark? Yes they are, Chuck. Great game. They look so bland. Like a blank slate, ready to decorate. Or is that so you can fall over them better in the dark? Nice looking work bench. I like the coffee can storage. I do a lot of that to keep track of small parts. Yea, I’ve con...

Cool lanterns, Jon. Regarding the 427, is there something on the lantern that led you to believe it’s associated with the forest service?

Logan, I’m so sorry to hear that your father has dementia and is not doing well. I was fortunate that I didn’t have to experience that with my parents. Mom passed away in her 50’s and dad was in the very stages of dementia when he passed so I can’t personally relate to what you are going through but...

Great advice from Steve, including the flashlight and magnet tip. If things don’t shake out with the lantern at the shop, try placing an WTB ad in the classifieds here. You just never know.
Good luck.

Great pictures, David! Looks like the fishing was great and the food was tasty. One of my sisters used to live on Lake Texoma many years ago and it was a fun place to visit. I remember eating some delicious deep-fried catfish at a place called Arlene’s out in the middle of nowhere.

When you run the lantern after being lit, you can run the valve anywhere you want depending on the light output you desire. Low for soft lighting, full on for brighter lighting.

I inherited this 220E lantern and 443 stove from my Dad in the 90's. https://i.postimg.cc/5yx8jffq/IMG-1641.jpg I grew up camping but got into backpacking in the early 80's and really never did much car camping after I started packing into the wilderness. One day, many years later, I tried to get th...
