Goldberg Bros Stove Guide

Attached is a Goldberg Bros Stove Guide compiled with assistance from the Goldberg Bros Camp Stove FB Group and other collectors. There is not a lot known about these stoves or the Goldberg Bros as a company, but I think we made a good first run at it. Nothing should be considered the gospel here as...

Nice work for those who contributed to this guide (https://colemancollectorsforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=38498). Lots of information put together in a very organized manner. A couple of notes I'd like to contribute, but missed out before comments were locked: 1. Not a "variation" on date stamp pat...

Re: U.S. Model B Visual Identification Guide

Without even looking at the details, I know you guys did a great job. Downloaded, and can't wait to read this. Really, each model in the ICCC book needs a breakdown like this to clarify what is known in the collecting world, versus what fit and was substantiated in "the book". Neat that you all hav...

Nice, comprehensive compilation. I have an early 228B (key hole bail and brass directional disc) and an etched globe, but the "COLEMAN" is etched on the top of the globe instead of the bottom. https://colemancollectorsforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=35098&p=461235&hilit=etched+globe#p461235 Very inte...

Re: Smelter find

Looks like a Clayton & Lambert No.180 (or similar model) Tinner’s Fire Pot. From the pic it looks to be fairly complete. Mine looked comparable when I received it. No coiled generator on these, it’s a “straight” gen with an orfice. Any missing parts would have to be scavenged but there are quite a f...

Re: AGM KampKook #56

Awesome find! I have included pics of my 56 almost in the same condition. I have test fired but not really dug into it to do a restore. The diffusion plate is in my pics, similar to the model 8 plate. I would say ‘33ish in the date from what I have researched. https://i.postimg.cc/nLSTPg08/02-E9885-...

As usual a fantastic restoration Jeff, I wonder if all Gypsies had decals on them? There was no evidence of mine ever having one Jan Thanks! I am not sure Jan. Re: New life for No. 10 Gypsy

That looks great! And appears to be working well, too. So, the same CAUTION label that was on all of the Preway stoves from 1934 to 1939 were also on the Model No. 10 Gypsy stove? I did not know that. It's quite the coincidence that we have been discussing using those on the forum lately. https://i...

Boiled linseed oil was all I used on this one. I have cold blued and flax oiled a couple lately, I am not sure how it’s going to hold up.
