Old candle barn sells nice heavy unmarked 660s but you need a dealer account. J Atkinson is a distributor. If you're on the FB pages message him, I'm not sure his handle on CCF.

Phil, <br /> Keep in mind that my research is on US 237s only. But yes, you could easily increase your tracked characteristics by a factor of 10. For example you have founts as "nickel, dark green and seafoam" there is no seafoam founts in US237s, so all entries of US237s will be nickle or dark gree...

If not try swapping the entire burner/frame assembly. Ill bet the overdrive stays with the frame. My money is on a manifold blockage, a wire tie wouldnt clear a dauber nest or the like.

I understand your point, but its tough to assume that US 237 production postwar started with "USA" then switched to "united States " then switched to dated founts in or about 11-53 until about 6-54, then switched back to undated "united states".

Project 635B (Leacock)

Yes i heard the "it was a mistake " story. Id say more likely Leacock requested a lantern not in production, id say they were built using left over parts and the tip cleaner came up short. A simple call from Coleman to Leacock would fix that, "take it or leave it, we'll put a sticker on it"

I respectfully disagree, the straight "Coleman " quoted above is for the 220/242 sizes. I believe a 42 Canadian would use a large print Sunrise 660, slightly different than later dark green sunrises seen in late 40' and 50's era 236/7's.

237A fount question

In late 237a's like yours the founts are identical to 220/8's of the same era. Very early 237a's (69ish) had founts that will interchange but are marked "237a".
