Classic looks, run great, and don't have the NRV to deal with.

The only drawback is the smaller fount filler hole.

Aside from that they're perfect.

The embossed collars started in the mid 50s I believe. The embossed collars show model 236 and 237 numbers but not the Empire or Major names.

I forgot that I have a NOS flame spreader too. I was on this web site looking for chimneys. The wick riser is missing. I think that's going to be impossible to find. ☹ Other than that it looks pretty good.

It's too bad because it has the gallery and I already have a mantle with frame and an original wick.

I don't know if I've ever really noticed the typical fuel gurgle like you get with a lantern.

If you getting fuel to actually pool up then the generator is passing fuel (obviously).

It'll probably light up and burn fine.

I take a 321b valve assembly out by flipping it upside down and placing it in a vice. Tighten the vice and then grab the bottom and turn. It might take some effort but it should unscrew. Make sure you leave the valve stem in so the vice jaw pressure doesn't cause damage. Also make sure you pad the v...

Tough call. I hate when they ask a high price just because they think it's old but it's covered in gunk. From my home province of Newfoundland. She's got an amazing voice. They also do a great cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love."

Another version of that song is performed by a Newfoundland comedy trio called Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers. They do comedy and serious stuff too.
