The 99 works on a 200 as well. I have to check the packs but I'm pretty sure I've seen a 200 listed on the 99 packets.

Homemade cases

You gotta love finding well built cases with some goodies inside. I bought these from the original owner's son-in-law. One is a bit rougher than the other but should make fine users. Both are Canadian 200 with the same 5-69 date. Finding 5 Silk Lite #999 mantles in one of the cases was a nice bonus....

A 21 will work but a 999 works much better.

This is a breakdown of the 321B assembly. It's pretty easy to replace the o-rings.

I always use a blue thread sealer when reinstalling the valve assembly back into the fount bung.

I've watched a couple of that guys videos. He's an idiot.

He filmed at a spot close to me and filled the video full of inaccuracies and omissions. One of the volunteers responsible for upkeeping the place contacted him and asked him to include correct info and give credit but he never did.

That should be a seafoam green or pea green.

I've never heard of a blue 242B. The vent would be seafoam or pea green as well. I have a 1942 that's more of a pea green.

It's kind of hard to provide proof of that.

I rinse the fount with clean denatured alcohol and leave it in the sun to air dry for a few days with the cap off.

After that it's just a case of them believing you when you say you've aired it out.

This one is steel (1968) but I do have a couple brass fount 1962 years. I've found 7 or 8 over the years and only one was used hard. Yeah he's a collector.

And a real red 335 would have a 1970 date. They weren't made in 1973.

His brother has actually bought stuff from me. This seller scans local ads in my area and gets his brother who lives in my city to pick stuff up for him. They live 1100 km from each other.
