I have the worlds smallest snowblower and I love it.
If you want to clear an area, it needs to throw as far as possible. A walking path or driveway not so much..

Worked in a shop that sold Ariens back in the early 90's, used to be real good stuff, hope it stil is.

I'm with Timm, different is good. I have two, both good runners.

The pinion tends to shear or come off the shaft, thus lever spins round and round.

I would be using a propane torch.

You could certainly just make your own. FYI these are designed to just be finger tight for the most part. There is a little oring (or two?) behind that little black knob IIRC EVERYTHING tends to leak on these when they get old. You can take a soft plug or end cap and make a preheat cup. These take L...

Pop snort is not really a good sign, go over plug wires and firing order. If dist in correctly it should start. Don't put more than a teaspoon of gas down carb at a time. You won't necessarily see fuel moving thru filter. If firing order correct let's see if distributor stabbed correctly. check firi...

You will be able to pull it out quite a ways if that works for you. I saw on some site (don't think this one) where a guy cut a small groove in the pump tube opening, then managed to bend to snorkel down along the pump tube and pulled it all out. Then soldered hole on assembly.

A full charged 6v battery will be 6.3v, that extra .3 is just from the charging and will quickly go away, so sounds good there.

Checking voltage drops is only an effective test when the system is working, unless you have a really poor connection.

I was hoping you had good news.... :)
