Re: Pump Well Seam - Caswell Help?
OK, it doesn't "join the font" down at the bottom where check valve is.
If you don't have caswells any thin epoxy would work. Do you have check valve out? See if it's 3/8th 24 thread, or whatever it is, just get a bolt that sze, should be a straightforward repair

Re: Pump Well Seam - Caswell Help?
"Where tube joins font" The tube joins font up top, so it that right? Easily confused here......
The check valve is a standard thread, IIRC it's 3/8 24, (at least on a 242 I just had apart) so any bolt will thread in.

Re: Pump Well Seam - Caswell Help?
I would pressurize font, remove pump and fill with water so you know exactly where it leaks. Then report back.
I would be tempted to apply whatever sealer down pump tube and apply vacuum to font, sucking product into crack/hole

Forgive me, I misunderstood :) 413 is indeed a better all around stove for use, will take bigger pots and griddles. One of your tanks is probably for a 413. Nice thing about needing a tank for a 425, they are almost all the same. If you put a WTB in the classifieds I am sure somebody will have one. ...

The picture Poncho poached shows it pretty well. The fuel feed tube is, well, inverted, goes into bottom of font, and sticks up. Thus the fuel feed is at bottom, covered by a little screen, and air is at other end.
