Re: Generator Transfer Panel Switch
I had a secondary panel installed in my garage when it was built, had my old electrician relocate from my main panel. I just throw a lever to go from PG&E to generator as I have a cord I just plug into my generator. Easy other than wheeling my Honda to the covered area by my man door as it is equipp...

Mud dauber nest removal, not quick
I received a 200A yesterday that a member had offered up. I was originally only going to check the air tube, fount for crud and when ready, fire it up. I also wondered why the burner cap looked like the lantern had been stored upside down because the screen was covered in what looked like heavy dust...

Re: "Resetting" valve stem threads
I forgot all about this. I checked a recent buy with the cage off and no air leak out the genny tip, so thought all was well. I pulled the valve stem to make the collar removal happen and to check the F/A tube after removing the valve. Afterwards after I had ran the lantern and shut it down, I left ...

Re: Now with mantles*****Lind O Lite TPI on air stem?
Thank you. The pip isn't holding again after working yesterday as I noticed the mantles lost brightness after running 10 minutes and verified with squirted alcohol into the pump tube. The major issue is getting the NRV/ check valve out. A new style, long air stem is on order, I forgot to screw in th...

I've been fortunate that none of my 100 year old or other rare stoves have been lost, a few rerouted once or twice is all. I don't get too worried about a few Coleman items, they can be replaced.

Checking tracking numbers to see if I need to go to the Post Office, if it shows departed, that usually means it will be delivered that day. Re: Lind O Lite TPI on air stem?
This didn't hold all pressure for four hours, still had some pressure. I later pumped the fount up again and first place I checked was the NRV. I didn't think it was an issue as the pump shaft wouldn't push out, but with some denatured alcohol poured into the pump tube, it bubbled away. Unable to re...

Lamp is about ready to fire up, was gonna take my time and get my slant lamp going first, but this lamp is so easy like most lamps, I've done a few things while waiting for the sealer in the slant to cure.

Thank you Kevin for the image. Per a reply to a PM over on CPL, there is no air stem in these, but wonder if it can vary from model or year. I won't worry about it so much.
I found one post where the NRV/Check Valve was replaced with a early Coleman 220 style C/V.

Re: Lind O Lite TPI on air stem?
Thinking from what I read about one person having to replace a pip, may not need a threaded air stem, as a pip would make the seal. Some owners may not know much about this model. No pricker rod in the genny, there is an eccentric piece in there, the blockage in the genny is some wool. Will try late...

Since it isn't leaking, I hesitate to pull it if I can. Even not sure if it takes a normal style air stem. Hoping a owner pops in with info or a pic.
Still working on my 117, but pulled the genny off the Lindy, no pricker, looks plugged midway.

Now with mantles*****Lind O Lite TPI on air stem?
I won a BIN Lind O Lite lamp which had no pump, was advised a Coleman pump would work which it does, but I fitted a used air stem I had and it does not thread into the C/V. I've read where they remove the screen, not needed. The wool I have is too brittle, touching it makes it break up into small bits, I only use it to clean up parts on my Swedish stoves. Someone should be along and say what they use and size.
