Re: Wick question regarding a 1967, Green Coleman ~513 3000-5000 BTU Adjustable Catalytic heater

That will be a good test for sure. Here in North Alabama we get in the 20s and 30s at night sometimes. My shed is 12 x 12 so it wouldn't take a lot of heat to have comfortable working temps. I have a Perfection kerosene heater that I recently restored, but I am intrigued with the little Coleman heat...

Got the middle finger tip on my left hand about 45 years ago while trimming my grandpa's hedge. Cut clear through twice about 3/8" deep. Grandpa's treatment was turpentine soak and gauze wrapping. Finished the hedge, and the scar is still there as a reminder.

My wife and I were at an estate auction, and I was bidding on a new looking clam shell case to fit my lantern. $12.00 was my winning bid. A horizontal crack in the compression nut would not allow the adequate pressure on the joint for sealing. Thread compound my seal the threads and the crack, if it was there, but still allow fuel to escape at the pipe opening.

502 makes great coffee. I just stripped a Perfection Heater of the old paint someone used. Used Rustoleum Grill and Stove paint. Black Semi Gloss. Burned it in for 2 hours outside, brought it inside and burned for an hour with very little noticeable paint odor. May come in handy some time.
