Question for the heck of it.

I was just thinking has or does anyone ever mixed unleaded gas and Colman fuel. It would cut down on the cost of coleman fuel.

I have 2 or 3 of propane lanterns also. 1 brown and 2 green ones. They work well. I put one on a tank tree when boondocking. I also have one in the shed when I work out there. The other is in a box in garage.

The storm last night only gave us half of a inch of new snow on our side of town. We did get high winds. Weather man still gives us a winter storm warning until late this afternoon.

I have a 413C. It has a round tank about the same color. I just clear coated the tank to keep any more rust from forming. It does not look too bad. Pics can be found in my collection.

The winter storm warning says, 3 to 7 inches of snow. 40 to 60 mile a hour winds. We will see!

Right now snow, more 2" today and high winds, not close to what they predict. So far.

I have the refillable FlameKing one pound tanks. They work well with a conversion when you do not have a tank for coleman stove.

if you remove your burner tubes and caps with pliers as many do, you will distort them. Make them out of round. Even if they screw into the caps effortlessly, they will be out of round and leak right through the top of the cap. It's hard but if you look carefully you can see it when the lantern is ...

I started looking for a part I ordered from OCF today. Email said it was put on the front porch on the 23. I looked all over. Looking at the invoice I discovered I typed in the wrong house address. Just restoring a Schaub Lorenz 6 band radio from the 60s. I still have to hear the hype about a radio that seems to have a cult following for sound and reception. If you try to fill it stand away and only fill it part full for a few times. Empty propane Cylinders rust from the inside out. The moisture from propane will rust it. The rust may plug any appliance that it is hooked to. That is why Buddy heaters make a filter to put on larger tanks. I would use one...
