I posted about some estate sale finds earlier this year. I'm finally getting around to working on one of the milspec lanterns. I was cleaning up the burner today and after some electrolysis I noticed a stamping in the burner. Can anyone offer up any info on what I have? I've real curious about what ...

I don't have that model sears, but I looked on OCP for a parts diagram. It looks like a 220F parts wise. Don't know if these are tricks, but...1) I break the tip cleaner loose and tighten it back finger tight. 2) I use a cresent wrench, I think 10" length, to break loose valve from fount. 3) As you ...

I am a recent CCF member expecting a 220K lantern from eBay. The globe says it is made in the US for Coleman in red lettering with the Coleman logo. It does not state Pyrex. 1. I also would recommend DNA. One other thing I have not seen mentioned is make sure that the tip cleaner lever is in the down position. If not it could cause pressure to build up in the generator and cause it to rupture This model, 639C, doesn't have the tip clean lever. It's a one knob job. Tom
