Bugs Baked On Vent

I took a couple propane lanterns out last night to test for a camping trip next week. Apparently the bugs were pretty bad, and after letting them burn a half hour or so on the porch I noticed the vents were covered in black dots. I tried a razor blade, but it just glides over. Just wondering how you...

Re: SOLD-Small Collection 33 Lanterns Grand Junction, Colorado

Sorry, yes, in all my haste to move these along I posted on Craigslist, Facebook, and here. Forgot about that forum rule, I'm sorry, just needed to move these and wasn't thinking. Got a message from a local guy around 2am and contacted him this morning. I don't think he had seen this ad, found out h...

Re: WTS-Small Collection 33 Lanterns Grand Junction, Colorado

I've had the lanterns for years. Gave close to 20 of the rougher stuff to coworker hoping that would help. A few hours later she was complaining about the smell again. I went out there and couldn't smell anything. I think she's just got it in her mind that they are unsafe now and need to go no matte...

5122 Burner Frame Work In 200A?

I have a a 5122 propane I'm thinking of parting out. So far looks like the globe, vent, bail, burner parts, and valve wheel are interchangeable with a 200A. Is the Burner cage interchangeable as well? From first glance it looks the same. Is there anything else worth saving? https://i.postimg.cc/8cwH...

I've heard some people talk about repairing a globe with super glue. I'm just curious what repairs work, what ones don't, prep, brand of glue, type, etc. Also, do they hold up?

Interesting lead weight found at the thrift store.

Found this at the thrift store. Looked like solid lead, so I brought it home. I assume it's for some type of fishing, but just curious if anyone here might know?

Re: snagged a 202

Found my first one back around 2010 for $18 at an antique shop in Huntsville, Texas. They seemed to be somewhat common down there at the time. I recently picked up another for $8.00. It's missing the bail, does anyone know if it's the same bail as the 200a?

295 Valve Problem

What causes a 295 valve to suddenly become loose to turn and not pass fuel? Is this a Schrader problem, or do I need to replace the entire valve/pickup? If it's a Schrader problem, can they likely be purchased locally?

Hi. Just wondering if it's safe to use Evaporust with nickel plated brass fount, or is there a better method? I'm hoping to save this 237. Thanks. Rob
