I have a a 5122 propane I'm thinking of parting out. So far looks like the globe, vent, bail, burner parts, and valve wheel are interchangeable with a 200A. Found my first one back around 2010 for $18 at an antique shop in Huntsville, Texas. They seemed to be somewhat common down there at the time. I recently picked up another for $8.00. It's missing the bail, does anyone know if it's the same bail as the 200a?

What causes a 295 valve to suddenly become loose to turn and not pass fuel? Is this a Schrader problem, or do I need to replace the entire valve/pickup? If it's a Schrader problem, can they likely be purchased locally?

Hi. Looking for something I can use to wipe down lantern founts without having to do a complete tear down. Obviously needs to be something that won't hurt the paint and doesn't need to be rinsed off, but will get that gunky dried residue off. Thanks.

I bled off the pressure by slowly opening the cap and quickly closing it several times. I know, not safe, but I couldn't let it run all night and keep everyone up in camp.

What would be the cause of a CL1 flooding on start up and not wanting to shut off? I assume it's a valve problem? This one was hardly used and I have installed a heatshield.

Hi. I'm just curious what others are using to clean their vents? In one of Frank's Old Town Coleman tutorials he mentioned that abrasive cleaners could potentially dull the porcelain. Would something like Dawn dish soap work okay, or should I just stick with plain water? Thanks. Rob

I've played around with them quite a bit. They actually put out a decent amount of light, especially the larger ones with wider wicks. I love the simplicity of them.
