I had a 1988 Toyota pickup. It went 18.5 years and 260,000 miles before it was not worth throwing money at.

Replaced it with a 2006 Tacoma that still is my everyday driver that has 105,000 miles on it.

They just seem to work.

220 FA tube threads are too large to fit on a 200 valve body.
If I remember correctly, the 635 shuld be the same length as a 220's, as the 635 uses a standard size 220 fount, but have the same size threads as a 200.

I did all my conversions with 220 valves. Install 220 valve, cut level with fount bung, drill and tap with 1/8 npt. Tap and test fit until 200 valve is deep enough for collar to sit correctly. What is the big military stove with the x burner called. You know, the one that uses the 530 style of burner just to preheat the gen.

So I sunk the gen deeper into the air tube. Flickering has lessened considerably, much more tolerable now. I'll wait until dark for the final verdict.

Tried backing the generator out a bit via the airtube adjustment, no change.
Once it cools I'll try going in a little deeper.

Running naphtha and went as high as 50 psi with Peerless 111's. New generator tip and a new generator made no difference in performance. Adjusting the air flow regulator to restrict air will lessen the flicker, but at the cost of brightness. I don't know what to try next. How far should the generato...

My HC flickers like crazy. Tried zippo wicks and brass screen wrap and it did not help.

If I remember correctly, along with the star count, another way to tell is the ones stamped Made In Germany are made in Germany. The others marked Reg'd Germany aren't made in Germany.
