Yup, back in the day Alaska had tough laws. Simple oppss was a fine, get caught poaching browns, sheep, etc. And everything you used to commit the crime became property of the state, up to and including aircraft

Nice score. Definitely one of my favs. I picked one up on the bay and it was missing parts. So, a jackson is 20$, right? I think you did well. I would have been in fire twice that. Pb Yeah, all these new currencies have me confused. I'm not sure how to convert Jackson triplettes to Facebook clams😒

Try a little penetrating oil around the cap, they can get difficult to remove as crap builds up under it.
They're no different than lantern pumps

I've never doused a bp stove with fuel, sounds extreme. I've been out in below 0F temps a number of times, even my last trip I had at least one kero stove and had no problem getting it going. Coleman quit making 502 generators a little while back, but OCP has someone who makes replacement gens for them. The guy is not making them right now, but should be back to making some in a month or two. For what it's worth, the coil inside the 502 is not for the purpose of heating inside the gener...
