Re: Using an iron gen on lantern

One of my Quick Lite lanterns came with an iron generator, but I destroyed generator while trying to clean it. If I hadn't destroyed it, I would be using it.

Thanks, that is what I needed to find out.

Re: Sea Foam question?

Jack, IIR, when I go to the shop today, I’ll take a look at a 236 & 237 with sea foam vents. I think both lanterns are from 1948. Who knows if these are the original vents, the lanterns are 76 years old. The vents were sent to IPE for a redo two years ago. Both were sea foam and in bad shape. I pla...

Re: Sea Foam question?

Seafoam vent on the left and green on the right. The seafoam vent is from a 8/48 and the green is from a 2/48 236. That is what I needed to find out. Thanks. I bought a 2 '48 236 on the bay, it looks like a green vent. No bale or globe but for the price plus shipping from Canada made it worth the g...

Re: WTB: Early 220B screw on pump assembly

Nick, I have one I can send out to you. It actually measures .245 but should be correct. I think it was from a '34 220B. The washers are not correct, you would need to make a bushing for the leather.
