The clocking issue isn't an issue at all if you are using a sealant on the threads. I use regular non-hardening GasOila, some here use the red hardening version like the factory used, but any will allow you to clock it properly without over tightening and it is really handy on ones that have already...

Anyone know if the generator assembly fits an Optimus 1200? Most of those parts look identical to my Optimus and I could use the gen if it would fit. Wish I could help you out with an answer but I'm not sure ... hopefully someone else will chime in for you . Thanks Ernie Actually, I found my answer...

Does it pump and hold pressure? Not being a smart ass here, but with any schrader valve model I put a bit of fuel in them, pump them up, and then let them sit to see if any fuel leaks out the generator tip. If it does then you need a schrader valve- I just replace the whole plastic FA tube at the sa...

That looks good, I've been curious to try it on a frame myself but the info I found shows it only good to under 500 degrees. I would love to know how yours holds up to a couple of firings! I not only soak valve assemblies and pricker controls with the packings in place in citric acid, I run them thru the ultrasonic in it as well and have not had one damaged yet- I've done around 50 now.

To play off Ecblanks title :D This morning I polished up the 6-82 turd I picked up yesterday. It only needed a light cleaning followed quick dremmel polish to the frame and I treated the fount to a run of the highspeed buffer and some ceramic wax. I made a temporary adapter to fix the broken fuel stem housing to attach the packing gland nut, put on a set of HC 24's, threw a cracked Sunrise globe (kinda fits it but it will get a proper mica), and used the fuel cap off my Monkeywards iron. Other than the globe and fuel cap everything is what wa...

I was halfway hoping she would say No, but she agreed. Both lanterns were her fathers, she said he bought them at the same time ...

The wife got this from the same person she got the 286 from, I just wasn't able to clean it up and take a pic the other day. Hand crafted from Az, 925 silver, kingman turquiose and real coral. I have a pin for it, need a battery for the watch, and it actually fits perfect. https://i.postimg.cc/446GH...

West Systems epoxy, probably G-Flex thin to allow for shock flex in use, I would expect the 105 to be overly ridgid and could create a hardspot at the repair. Their help line would tell you just what to use and how to do it right.

No such washer in the H, so your good. I have a 288 that was covere all around the rest as yours, but the inside bottom of the frame was covered as well- this was from fuel leaking out the generator due to the valve not being fully shut and it was stored with fuel in it.
