Also, the collar may say 242B, but are you absolutely sure the collar is original to that lantern? I have some that are not.

Build the box. But don't ship it in the box. Every time some one signs the lantern they drop a flag sticker in an envelope and mail it to you. You put the Sticker on the box then get a map of the US and Canada . Everytime you get a flag sticker you put a pin in the map with the person's name and us...

We lose power a couple times a year. And miss it too obviously. I have a 35000 generator. Got rid of the 5000. Got tired of dragging it around by the pull cord trying to start it. We heat with wood exclusively, so no worries there. Plenty of firewood, chainsaw mix, and bar oil on hand. If I had to, I could refrigerate my food outside or in the garage. Many gallons of CF and Crown cached, and of course lots stoves and lanterns. I don't want to be without power, but we'd be fi...

Look closely behind the 5 is there a 7 there? 57 is a know light strick. I have two of them. Do you have a picture of the pump? If the pump has blackened brass pump knobs also puts it in the range of '56-'59. I see the other striking, it is light. The top of a 7 it might be, there is a number there.
