Regarding penetrating oils like a lot of you I’ve had good luck with kroil. However the Project Farms dude did a comparison and I was surprised to see the aerosol kroil come in dead last.

It was Sept. 1977, i was 19 years old, bought my first brand new vehicle and it was a “77” F-150 4 wheel drive. $6450, love that grill and body style. Have fun with the truck David.

This day and age a $150 for a Christmas lantern is a decent price to begin with, anything less makes it great deal. With one pic its hard to tell. Its an early 220E. If it has the original globe and as you already stated free shipping, a chip free vent, sound fount, its not really out of line if you dont already have a dozen or more.

What does .034" mean? Well, its larger than 1/32 of an inch. For a plus or minus tolerance in woodworking it might be okay, in a lot of machine work it would be unacceptable.

I watched the electric F150 test on you tube, it was enough of a failure towing a midsize trailer to realize they’re simply not ready for prime time. Less than 90 miles on a full charge and that is brand new, imagine after a few years after the batteries fade.

The large orange flames can also be caused by an obstruction in the air tube that supplies air to the mixing chamber, usually a spiders web or other bug. Clean it with a frayed wire or pipe cleaner.
