Jim, the 502 gen does have a .009 gas tip orifice. The "pricker" wire for this stove is indeed .008" (from my own measurements) and it has a slight taper at the apprx 1/10th the length of the end of the pricker. Paul, if you're just looking to clean up brass, don't use white vinegar overnight. All your brass will come out pink. That's not good. Do not boil it.
