I just love that board racer, Lenn. Did you build the engine for it too? It sounds great and looks just like in the old films I saw when they were racing on the old angled/curved board tracks. Those guys were really racers! Your bike looks just like I remember!

The A10 Warthog is probably the most maneuverable sub sonic aircraft ever built. And, puts a few sonic aircraft to shame too. The old "slow" prop planes from WWII were very nimble. Two of my early cars were Falcons. They never quit. The were both post 1964 straight six 200s. All those main bearings in a row. Long life. More main bearings than pistons!

Like the other fellow members alluded to, just different production runs, Stewart. I can't remember which kind are older. I know the top larger diameter is to keep the spring centered in the gen tube once it comes out past the "cardboard" tube. The purpose of the springs is just to guide the pricker...

The Auto 5, or Humpback, is one of the best designs Browning came up with. Until the Remington 1100, it was hard to beat an old Humpback for good shooting.

Turtles and tortoises are about as helpless as babies. Even fast ones can only move about two miles a day. What kind of 'hole would harm one on purpose? Makes me mad and I'm not a softie. I would try a triangle needle file too, or get a thread restoring file that includes 32 tpi. Those files are only about 15 bucks, and will clean up a thread nicely. Just FYI, a thread restoring file usually has eight different thread counts. Just make sure the one you buy includes the 32 tpi thread....

Yep to Chuck. The lantern will still work fine with the regular F/A tube for Coleman Fuel left in place while burning kerosene. It will not work like an instant light lantern as it was designed when using kero, but once the mantle is warmed up well and burning white, just open the valve all the way ...
