Those blades are obviously made of something other than metal and burn real good when heated sufficiently. Engineers didn't think about that one. LOL.

Try lighting it outside Next time, let it run for a bit then bring it in. I do this with my Nite Hawk lanterns as sometimes they tend to smell on startup and shut down but burn clean when inuse.

Interesting stuff Dean. I remember you at one point mentioning you bought orifices for some of your projects rather than having to to drill with those small bits that can break so easily. I guess it would depend on how big the generator end is and if you have room for an orifice insert . 200a and 22...

Yes, I don't think running would have helped him because it looked like the Avalanche was spreading out towards the end and he would have never been able to get out of its way in time. Also it looks like he was on top of a hill and that would help to give him some protection also.

What are the two on the bottom left? They look like handy gas plant grates but not handy gas plant tanks. You are correct. They are HGP burners mounted on air tanks to replace compromised fonts. Seems the only HGP’s I can find have rotted out fonts. It takes a little creativity but it works well. H...

If that is similar to a 326 Air o gas stove the burners and manifold have a tapered seat " friction fit" and I think if you apply some heat around the center of the underside of the burner it should break loose with some hammer taps but be gentle. Your burners do look to be a different design than m...
