Lifetime coolers are made in USA, and a fraction of the cost of a yeti. I buy RTIC drinkware, and some Ozark Trail from walmart. It all performs the same, but costs a fraction of Yeti. ALL made in China, so give me the cheaper yet still functional option. I got my Lifetime around 5 years ago for 10...

Doesn't seem right to sell something stamped "Made in USA" if it was made elsewhere. At least he states that they are reproductions. Ebay is full of counterfeit items.

These were found on AGM’s. The 2 on the left we’re on 278’s and the right one was on a 257. Someone just overlapped it to fit though. BTW, that wasn’t a steel rod, it’s brass. Because of how much I twisted on it, I assumed that brass would’ve snapped off. It’s a steel rod. I’ve cleaned out the oil & poured a dab of vinegar down there. I might get out the soldering iron & try some heat.

I guess the pip must have started leaking on this old 242 (nl), so a PO either threaded, or drove a rod down into the NRV air hole. Then he got a cap from an iron and the fix was complete. It’s been soaking in Kroil all day & I’ve tried to unscrew that little rod with pliers, but it’s just twisting....
