Case for 237

Mine just barely fits in the large clamshell, I have to pull up on the top to get the vent nut in. Once in, it holds and closes nicely.

My 202 is dated 8-57 on the side of the fount, and B stamp on the bottom. I'd be interested in a summary of the data if available.

Vent - White residue, film or scale

Hello Folks - I'm working on a 1948 228D that was covered in a thick coat of dust. I can't seem to get the final layer off of the vent. I've tried automotive rubbing compound and steel wool, but neither seems to make it any better. Is this the best I can get or does anyone have any thoughts or ideas...
