Thanks Toby for helping out. Yes, instructions are in the FAQ. Max filesize is actually 228KB (not sure why an odd number but that's what it got set to). The easiest thing to influence file size is Image Quality - if you can do that with your photo app you can still have large dimension images, but ...

Very sorry to hear what happened John. The workplace is a minefield. And by the way just to set the record straight, on the new forum the limit on photo size is actually larger than on the old forum, it is actually 240KB now vs 150KB before... so image size can't be the actual issue you are facing if you're doing what you used to do, maybe there is something else up?

Thinking about this a bit more, I have a collapsable spare in my old 911. It looks about that thickness uninflated. I just watched a few youtubes about them and it seems pretty funky, except the tyre is almost 30 years old so I wouldn't want to actually use it!

Re: Polishing and cleaning using a Dremel
I bought that kit and hardly used any of it for polishing GPAs. Trying to polish a fount with a 1cm pad thing was awful. As Timm says, the wire flies off those other bits and embeds themselves in your hair, clothes, skin, whatever.
I do like my Dremel though, but mostly for tiny bits of rust removal.

Pretty sure that it is common now for small cars to have such a spare, if they have one at all that is. Many just have the pump + gloop. In fact, when we were looking at the VW California if you picked certain internal configurations you could not legally have a proper spare tyre, only gloop. Reason...

What I don't understand is why you would list an item with which you are willing to part as "for trade only". Maybe to see what is out there first, and if nothing then offer for cash? Just a theory. I see the patches as a gift from Mike, for your first order of the year.
