I'm getting that more frequently from Europe this week. If I switch to a US VPN then the problem goes away, e.g. Opera browser has a free VPN. Nothing I can do about that one I'm afraid.

OK I just tried on FireFox and it works for me. As does Safari, Chrome and Opera. Be real careful typing in the id and pwd. I had to concentrate several times to get it right! If you have the pwd stored you might want to try to clear that, and/or the cache/cookies. I know that's a pain, so it's last...

He might be better looking for a Tilley iron either on eBay or local FB? I can see a few on there right now ranging from £15 upwards.

It's not white gas, but kerosene, so that might be a factor for him? However, kerosene is easy to buy in the UK and widely used for domestic h/w and heating.

Good idea on a red 502. Maybe I'll need to source a green one with bad paint. I know a guy on here begins with 'M' that seems to paint 502's all sorts of ways, maybe he has one spare ;)

And yes, simmer to get the best brew for sure! I find the 502 is perfect for a Bialetti.
