I haven't spotted a 5/66 Sears lantern, but I have seen a 72302 Sears stove with that date (413 size two burner). I've also noted a 200A, 220/228F, 237, 502 and 413G with that date.

Bronze tank 413E: 1954 - mid 57; red tank mid 1958 - 61. Red tank with 3 leg slots: 1960 (or so...maybe '59 also?). Red tank with red valve: 1961. All are "model years" beginning and ending halfway through the year.

That's also my wife's birthday month and I've never found a 200A. I have seen 220/228F's, 236 CA and 237 U.S. as well as a few stove models - 413G and 426D and Sears 476.74970 two-burner blue/yellow stove.

I haven't seen any lanterns, but I own a 5/74 413G (case dated 3/74 and tank dated 5/74). I'm not opposed to selling it.

You're welcome, I have also seen one on a 418 - @smarti posted it. I can't see details from his photo though. I would think that the basic "F 194" only would be a good generic version, that one seems to be found on most models.

I enjoy the energy cost savings from the LEDs, but I definitely prefer the light from an incandescent. I'm also not convinced on the longevity of LEDs as they are advertised. In my workshop I replaced all of the 4-ft fluorescence with LEDs, but they seem to flicker and crap out after about 6 months...

LED's, definitely. I even switched nearly entirely to compact fluorescent back when that didn't make sense financially, but some of those expensive early bulbs are still working. I kind of like the slow start on some CFLs where I can ease into the light when I turn them on in the middle of the night...

Personally, I would leave it alone. That one is not common, and that paper label is unique to the mid-30's time period and it seems that half of the labels on stoves of that era are mostly gone by now. I wondered if that might be a 242 dated 9/32 or maybe a B dated 2/39 but stamped backwards (unlikely without the side stamp). The lack of a side fount stamp makes me think 242, 242A or early B. There's no photo of the top of the frame.

Actually, it's not all in The Book, the late 413B isn't, the late Gypsy isn't, and many hot plates aren't (not enough room). With the 425, the brown tank was only in the first year of production (maybe only the first part of the first year) since "bronze" is the only color mentioned in the catalogs....

That will be a fun project! I see a model 1700 two burner in a 1948 Stoeger catalog, so it could be from somewhere around that time period...I don't have any AGM catalog data though.
