Another data point: I have both versions of the 11/41 242B; The nickel/brass fount one has a brass collar and frame, and the painted brass fount one has a steel collar and frame.

Free bump for 10gage. I have one of these, and just so y'all know the tank is steel so it doesn't suffer from the same stress cracks that plague the 520 counterpart. The burners are solid and it runs every bit as good as a Coleman 523.

Your "Operating Instructions" will have a date code there on the bottom left of the cover page. It will not tell you the date of manufacture but will help narrow it down.

Disclaimer: I have never owned a Wenzel, but I have used Wenzel parts on my Aida 1500 so I do know that they are almost identical in engineering. THanks, Toby. I think I've about got Steve R's ready to go. I jacked up the lead seal when I was desoldering it ,and the viton seal I made for it last night didn't work out and I gave up on it for the night. But I think it's going to work out.

I believe this is going to work. I got the old old pump desoldered and disassembled and swapped the appropriate parts. I still need to find a new leather and the stem is going to be too long, but this should work.

There may be a way. If I can get the schrader unsoldered from the old pump and get the cap off (unlikely) I may be able to use the donor pump stem and knob.

the pre heat shield from this may also fit your torch , under the solder iron semi ringed nut . im not sure why so many of those are missing . but cant be certain they came in so many shapes n sizes . That looks right, Steve. Let me get closure with Chuck first since I can avoid shipping with him.
