Re: Finally: My Holy Grail for Coleman England Collection

Congrats Logan! If I remember correctly those have some unique features compared to the US and Canadian models? Thank you. Yes there is. But, this is the only know 2242 that I am aware of as well. Neat piece but there is a few known. https://www.google.com/search?q=coleman+2242+classic+pressure+lam...

Re: Finally: My Holy Grail for Coleman England Collection

Congrats, happy for you. Can’t say I’m familiar with that model. What is the significance? Thank you very much. It was in some of their advertising but had never been found. That I know of, this is the only one in existance, same with my 242a Made in England and also the Kero Brite I have not heard...

Finally: My Holy Grail for Coleman England Collection

After many years, I have finally gotten my holy grail. This is a Coleman Made in England 2242. I am only 2 pieces away from finishing the whole Made in England collection. I am beyond ecstatic to finally have this piece in the collection. https://i.postimg.cc/sg37W3QQ/20240723-190317.jpg https://i.p...

Re: Best mailcall EVER, plus updated collection

When I first saw a Keroman and Kerobrite they looked very familiar. That's because they share almost all the same burner parts as Esso/Veritas-Famos/Ehrich & Graetz/Montgomery Ward. I collect Wards and E&G, so I might have some solutions to the mantle frame issue, even if they're not quite original...

Re: Best mailcall EVER, plus updated collection

Sadly I have not been able to track any down as I still need to. I will have to check on the threads, but I do not believe they are the same. Beautiful collection Logan. Have you found any mantle frames for the Keroman or Kerobrite? Are the fuel cap threads the same? The KM-1 seems to be different f...

Re: Best mailcall EVER, plus updated collection

Well when I started collecting i ended up amassing over 2000 lanterns, all single mantles plus globe collection and parts. Took up so much room. So I knew how hard it is to find the MIE items, so I made that my niche. I don't believe that there is a bigger Coleman England collection than mine, but I...

The only thing that wasnt is the 201 that has a label on the box that says "For United Kingdom Use". Thank you for everyone that made this possi...

Happy 242 day from some rare birds

Happy 242 day from a minty England 242B, and also from the only known (so far) England 242A.

My post the other day didn't go through. Heres from 237 day as well, some England 237s.

Enjoy

I got huge into it for years. Had a couple thousand single mantles. Had a massive mantle and vintage part collection as well. I have sold off most of it, and now only focus on Coleman Made in England items when I can find them. Enjoy working on the saws
