Re: Air Tube behind check Valve

It could also be bits of the leather pump from the years of use passed through the cv. Evaporust won’t cure that. This is an issue that I’ve avoided so far in my short collecting career but I’m not looking forward to encountering it at all.. I would try solvents like already stated and if it was dea...

Re: Peerless mantle size question

Thanks Chuck! Ok that makes sense. Different shapes. I’ve never paid much attention to these other style mantles because I don’t own any lanterns that a 2C-HG wasn’t able to work. All I have is 220’s, 200A’s and 24X styles. This was a first for me

Re: Peerless mantle size question

The 202 is running great on the 24A now. I just really didn’t understand why they would make two different mantles that are almost the same size.

Peerless mantle size question

Hey folks, I was hoping someone could explain the difference between peerless 24-A and peerless 111. Both packages say 500 candle power and they appear to be very close in size before burn in. I just burned a 24-A in a 202 that was over burning a regular 2C-HG that’s clean with a fairly new generato...

Re: Expandable Garden Hose

I have one that I use as an add on but it usually is for quick wintertime jobs. It’s called a Zero G from Walmart. It doesn’t expand or contract but when it’s empty it kind of goes flat. Very easy to store and pretty light weight. It’s held up for two years so far using it every other day for flower...

427 check valve

Hello folks, my search abilities aren’t great today but I picked up a internal pump quick lite and my check valve tool from Old Coleman Parts doesn’t seem to fit. Does anyone know if they do in fact fit to remove the CV? It’s pretty grungy inside the tube so maybe I just need to clean some more. By ...

I’m a little late back to the party but no, it’s just a run of the mill steel wire wheel. I haven’t had issues with scratches but you don’t really need to apply much pressure to remove original coleman paint.

Well this is where my ignorance will really show about knots. I’ve never had an issue with mantles just doing a really tight overhand knot followed up with another overhand knot. That’s probably called something but I don’t even know!

I’ve dressed up a couple 220’s with a paint job. I know the greens are different through the years. I’ve had very good luck with Rustoleum spray paint. They make Hunter Green and Dark Hunter Green. One of those two will match your vent almost perfectly IMO. You have to see what cap matches your vent...
