Re: Why does cantaloupe taste so disgusting?! 🤮

Dean did you try it cooked? I'm so-so with it raw (and never by itself...) but cooked is OK

I'm that way with tomatoes also; cooked - Yum! cold on a burger, Not so much...

Cut a tomato in two and put it face down on a BBQ grill don't burn it, just get it hot. Mmmm!

I have a set of Magnalite pots and pans in my old tent trailer setup - Best set ever for cooking, but bulky to haul. I had to make new wood handle adn the PO had burned the old handles to death. Well I did some googling, and while finding the lifters is easy the two "arctic stove" brands/models I found are not a mate to these IMO - Why? One is modern, without pot hole covers. The other is a Washington Arctic branded CI stove, and has no pot hole or covers either. The lifters seen to be fair...

Yep, I figured either that, or my Ltop was slow loading the pica.

Your has the classic "welders chipping hammer" handle look. We used to cut those down for handles to the doors of stoves we built.

Those round burners/covers on a cast iron kitchen stove. I don't think so I have a number of those and seen many more. This one is unique and the "Spade" is too wide. Even Parlor stoves I've seen and owned don't use this odd blade. I've also never seem the spring handles on the pot hole lifters. Wh...

OK, I can see its for lifting something hot, but what? I doubt a stove pot lid. Maybe a particular lid or handle-less skillet? It won't take a ton of weight - the spring handle deflects pretty easily. Nickle plated steel or Spring steel for materials https://i.postimg.cc/63bttnKw/Pot-lid-holder-Side...

Yep, very worth fixing up. I love my 425 NL - Its been my primary stove since at least 3-4 years ago. Just to be sure - the valve is not an on off switch - when you turn it off it takes a little bit for the vaporized fuel in the genny to fully lose pressure and it goes out slowly. This is normal.
