Re: OT Rare typewriter?
Yep we had secretaries that used the Selectric ball 'writers, for typing drawing notes on clear sticky material so they were clear and legible, and a heck of a lot faster than drawing each letter/number like the rest of the drawing.
The ones we used were all caps also.

You could try bluing the parts that go in the hole, but what I do is not take them down to clean bare metal; light wire brush and leave the "stain" - Old country browning. Same with the holes if you can get a gun cleaning brush that small. after that, the graphite is also a good idea, all of than wi...

Actually, the transiting month in 80 seems to be 6 - I've seen both red and green 6-80 Lanterns - None for other months with both. That does not mean there aren't any, since this is Coleman we are talking about, but I didn't record any. (Just post this in another thread on when the reds stopped)

Re: 201 font question
The 201 fount is the same as a 200 / 200A fount. Unless yours is in really bad shape, you may devalue it by repainting since 201's aren't very common in the US and it would no longer be original. Regardless, it's your fount to do as you wish. One possibility is to get your hands on a 200 or 200A fo...
