Re: First colex globe

Colex globes came on 335's from 70 to 72 with some overlapping in to 73. I've found at least 2 73's with this globe. There's been a 69 red 335 found but I don't know what globe was on it. As well some have been found with a green letter logo but are fairly scarce. I also have a made in England globe...

Re: Red 220E Canadian

So I just got home from up north finally. We've had a few threads on this in the past. So in 1967 Coleman Canada didn't stamp 200's and 220E's no date no logo. Most were nickel plated and painted red (that's why there found with the paint peeling badly) The 200's came in low and high vents of course...

You hadn't heard of a nickel 236 and 237? If that's the case you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that Coleman Canada also made a nickel 500 Speedmaster single burner stove around the same time. Actually they made them for quite a few years but I've noticed the nickel ones from the 60s and the se...

Re: Red 220E Canadian

I think the only year Coleman Canadian didn't stamp the red 220e or red 200 was in 1967. That's what many collectors believe. I believe the 236 and 237 from that year was stamped though because I'm pretty sure I have one of each from that year. I have to check my inventory. I did not know that abou...

Does yours have the Coleman sunrise logo stamped on the side of the fount? That’s where the date is on mine. My two are dated 65 and 68. If yours is a steel fount I would assume it’s later than a 68, but I’m guessing. Mine does not have a sunrise logo or any other stamping on the fount at all, just...

Yes for some reason Coleman Canada did not stamp lanterns in 1967. I can't recall if a reason was ever figured out on this. I have a high vent 200 with no stamp. A lot of them are nickle plated under the paint as well. That's why there found with a ton of paint loss.
