I just picked up an old AGM model 57 minus the vent and am in the process of refurbishing it.I took it apart to soak it in citric and discovered that the tank has a rope like material in it.Does anyone know if this is normal and if so what purpose did it serve. craig <img src="http://i436.photobucke...
