That's a really nice plane, Mose; what a different era, when someone invested in a good tool and used it for years, and it lasted. It's only right that they have ornate touches, as no doubt skilled hands worked many a year, taking pride in their work.

Get the globes and caps; they will be easier to sell. We here on the forum know where to get such parts, but a prospective buyer may not, and balk at buying something that isn't complete.

Yes, in all the cleaned parts, the valve stem is missing; however, it was originally on the stove, in the "before" pictures. No, it looks like the valve stem is still attached to the cleaning needle. I think you have all you need to reassemble the valve and generator. Yeah, you're right, Cole, miss...

Several years ago, I awoke to find a bunch right outside my bedroom window...more often than not, it's deer. They like nibbling on the bushes 15-20' from the house. This is all within the borough.

Like RidgeRunner says, the plastic caps are easy to unscrew; most of mine I can do with just my fingers. Also, the plastic wears less against the brass pump shaft than the aluminum caps...looking for a bright side, I guess. What I'm really wondering is what LED bulbs I can obtain to upgrade my UP la...

Interesting, Jason; what's the date on it? I bought a new 639 a while back (dated 5/14, bought 1/15), and it has the plastic cap. Too bad the pump tube is flared so a metal cap can't be retrofitted.

I was going to ask if a Zebco 33 reel would work in a snowstorm, since I have one here from years ago, but I thought it was inappropriate.
Courtney, thanks for the video, despite the repeated use of a four-letter word..however, we now seem to be on the Zebco 33 reel here.

I was just on YouTube, and there's quite the dramatic video titles about this snowstorm...You'd think this almost never happens! But here in PA, we know lake effect snows in Buffalo are common; that part of the state always gets more snow, it seems.
'Tis the season for hype and drama.

That looks like a nice place, Jim, I can understand why you're often out there-it's a nice view. It reminds me of where I live, on the side of a hill, with a steeper part behind the house and in the woods. However, it appears you have mostly evergreens, unlike here.
