Re: Using an iron gen on lantern

I don’t even change the tips these days.
They used to be cheap but now you need to keep your eyes peeled for a decent deal.
I’ve had zero issues running those YMMV.

Re: Clear coat over nickel founts

I’ve had customer spec paint over nickel

The coating shop I was working with said they will not coat over nickel cause it don’t stick unless you abrade the nickel which mitigates the corrosion protect it gives.
Kinda why some of the Coleman painted nickel founts have trash paint

Werner Having had 8 dogs over the past 30 years with age comes fatty tumors. Our typical course of action is do nothing when they are at an advanced age. We had a dog with a “tumor” on his jaw. Re: Vintage military kero floodlight

THAT IS A SMOKING DEAL. They are on sale for a limited time. If you want weekly emails from them, go to https://colemans.com/mailing/ Colemans used to be pretty cheap. Unfortunately that is no longer true except for some of the sales. However, due to the rampant sale of fake Chinese junk as genuine...

Thinking about general parcel limitations from USPS and UPS, The maximum length and girth I believe is 108". There's no way those cased up monstrosities sre within those limits. I'm guessing.

I hit the link that you provided. It took me their website, but there was nowhere to place that spotlight in the shopping cart. The other things that they carry had an "add to cart" link. Interesting enough I think the custom order tab may get you a shipping quote. I'm all in on a different rabbit ...

Re: Fix for 249 valve stem leak?

Thank you for the replies. I’ve had that outer piece both ways. The graphite was bought the last year or so, pvc tube, orange taped piece. No wobble that I could see. I even added a narrow piece of graphite sheeting I had. Puzzled. Maybe when I think I need to tighten more, that is fine, but after ...

I dealt with a purchasing agent a few years ago. I couldn't get him to buy despite crazy low prices.
The day he was led out by the State Police we figured out what was going on.
He did 4 years and last I heard was selling used cars.

I need to dig it back out and spend a little more time learning these! Hunt Is yours still set up for gasoline servic...
