GET OFF MY LAWN! LOL. Older I get more I resemble that mentality. Yeah, I’m all for freedom and enjoying the outdoors. EVERYBODY benefits from and could probably use more outdoor time. The mess these da** hippies leave behind is atrocious. Some people do try and clean up, but it is too big a task f...

Re: Finally at last.

So I was given the suggestion of using muffler mend on the union between the air tube and u-tube, can I also substitute with liberal application of antiseize as it's already kinda snugged. Give it a try. I know from talking to a member anti seize will harden under heat. I’m not sure if it will leak...

Tug Hill June 20th thru 23rd Roll Call Buy and Sell Thread

I’ll be in Tug Hill Wednesday evening this week thru Sunday. Does anyone have any wants or needs that may be attending? I’ll be bringing a couple 329 shades and perhaps a 120th Coleman anniversary lantern, a couple green cased tamoshanter shades to sell or trade. Heck maybe I’ll bring an unfired Nul...

Re: FS: leather pump cups

I always thought they were supposed to be rough side out? The NOS originals I have seen were rough side out. Not being critical of these cups in any way, just curious. My opinion early NOS ones were rough side out. Current Coleman production appears to be a mix of the two styles. Those look great f...

Re: Trying to determine manufacture date of old Coleman cooler

Your ask is eBay unsold pricing level, congratulations. Coolers are cool and all but impractical to ship. I’ve bought the earlier blue version of that cooler in similar complete condition for 1/3rd the price and laughed at by friends. I use it and it gets attention everywhere I travel with it. Good ...

Re: FIRED: Couldn't help myself

Stress cracking in Tilleys is really very rare. I have found a few cracked pump tubes but never a fuel tank that I can recall. All pressure lamps take 10 to 15 minutes to reach full brightness. I have measured lots of lamps with a photometer and it always takes a while for the burners to reach a st...
