Re: Canteen cup, clear coat and things that make make you say #@$&!
I learned that if you don't spray the coats 15-20 minutes apart you have make sure that paint is fully cured before adding another coat. You can do this by baking in the oven for an hour at 250°F or waiting a week. Temperature plays a huge part in how the paint flows and cures. That was one coat of...

Re: Trip to O'Hare airport today
I was north west of Chicago on business and went to a White Sox game all alone. The next morning the local meeting attendees jaws dropped when I mentioned where I went. It really wasn’t that bad though I made it a point to walk with a group of random fans as I made my way to the car at the end. Mose...

I, personally, could not be a teacher, especially in the present times. Unruly students showing no respect for authority. Yeah, nearly 35 years of "teaching" middle school (sometimes more like running a day care center) and I've reached my sell-by date. About 50 more days to go. I have sometimes fa...

I finally found the pile O Rayo lamps
This was given to me by Crystal Harmon. It’s complete less a shade holder. The fount leaks though
If you’d like this I’ll send it to you this week.
My apologies for the delay.
