I'm not necessarily cheap but I've bought prepaid phones then went to my carrier and had the give me a Sim card.
That in itself can save you a couple hundred minimum though the last time I did that was 5 years ago.
You need to make sure the phone is unlocked cause they aren't always.

Here the garage door companies won’t work on units old enough to have no safety provisions.

My FIL is a retired licensed plumber.
Early in his career he tested natural gas line connections with a match. Later on he got sophisticated and used a Bic lighter.

The 236 gen fits a 237 burner but you need the proper valve. If you wanted a "factory" type conversion, sure. If you just whap the F/A valve 100% open at start it'll work just fine. Not 100% sure how well the F/A circuit will work with that huge gen but even if it doesn't he can always preheat for ...

My first haul included a bunch of 220/228 that are painted with labels. I kind have ignored them for 3.5 years. Till now I didn’t realize painted D have an instruction label.

At this point in life I typically need to take a picture then zoom in too.
