Re: Amazon Shipping Failure
Bob, I use the Chase Visa Amazon rewards card, as a last resort I called them, the woman checked and verified me and my account, listened to what I had to say. After I explained the situation, she told me, "I am going to save you a lot of time, you can not address this with the Chase credit card, yo...

Yeah, thanks guys. I was just reading the thread E Bay Dispute and was going to post this in that thread, but it is different and new to me about Amazon . Their service is slipping/changing. I bought a new computer on Amazon, one reason I like Amazon is the good service and sold backup, but maybe not so much now. ****...

Re: Coleman Carbon Monoxide CO output. Kerosene
In heating equipment, natural gas, propane, coal, it is all too easy to produce CO. As a mechanical contractor when I lived in Alaska, I had test equipment, Bacharach, Lynn analyzer O2. CO, CO2, and other equipment, what surprised me was that while you can get fuel oil, stove oil, (in the kerosene c...

Being from Alaska we used to call them Snow Machines, not sure why we didn't usually say snow mobile. The thing I noticed is you said 45 y/o, I just could not trust a 45 y/o machine to take me out to the boonies and be sure to get me back home. We used to take the machines 15-25 miles into cabins fo...

I did some of the same things as well as others sometime back, labeled salvage a generator. There are times when you need to fix what you have in hand! Like out camping. Not to mention experimenting can just be fun.

The short answer is that not everything migrated as it should have. It had nothing to do with being a current or passed CCF member.

Early kerosene volatility varied greatly when it emerged out of the "coal oil" days. Rockefeller named his new oil company Standard Oil, referring to a consistent, dependable kerosene product, removing and dumping lighter Alkanes, that became to be known as gasoline.
