Its not a great design and easily broken. Especially on the lamps it seems. You’ll likely need some graphite packing ribbon or graphite packing rope to seal it back up.

Its an oasis, and snow mountain is right there. Real pretty. Plus Humphrey LP lights in the bathrooms. Nice shady spot in the trees. Worth a look see on google earth.

They are bright, loud, and the shut down popping is less appealing than the satisfying slurp slurp slurp of a 220B.
I’ve little against these lanterns once I get the %#+$@ bail in place. A serviceable CV would have been nice, though I doubt these were really meant to last as long as they have.

Thats a fine how do you do. Good thing it didnt have fuele in it when that happened. There is a youtube vid of Sparky preheating a 237 with a torch when a genny gave way. Couldn't of happened to a nicer fellow. Fortunately the only thing hurt was his ego. Save that square nut.

I just found one last week on a 242A. There was nothing inside of mine, or if there was it had decomposed/burnt up as I had done 4-5 heat quench cycles before I was able to get it apart.
